We got some snow today, so I had to take a few pictures of Gracie in the snow. I think she looks rather angelic! We got to use her snowsuit today again! She was only outside for a minute or two. When we were in her room looking outside at the snow, it seemed like she was really focusing on the snow.
I had to take a few pics of her in this outfit before she outgrows it. It's hard to believe she will be four months old in twelve days! She has her four month check-up on January 26th. I got on the scale with her yesterday, and I think she's close to 12-13 pounds. I've been giving her 2 bottles of formula a day plus four breastfeedings. She got up at 3:00 am the other night to eat, which she hasn't gotten up that early in a long time. Thankfully she went right back to sleep. Not too happy about Mommy taking her picture
I hope I'm remembering my Spanish correctly. The title should say "It's very cold!" Here are two pics of Gracie in her snow suit! The temps have dipped into the teens! And this weekend it's supposed to get down to 9 degrees! I got her suit at Kids' Market for a couple of dollars. We're getting some use out of it this week!
Greg got me my own camera for Christmas. Today he got a card reader so I was finally able to upload my pictures onto the computer. I've been having too much fun with it!
I thought this one was rather cute. I love the way she's lifting her dress up and showing her cute, fat belly.
I bought Gracie her first purple outfit today at Target. I typically do not like purple, but found this one and loved it! I love the mix-match shirt and tights! I also love the polka dots! I posted all these pics just to show how hard it is for me to pick one or two to post. I just think every pic is soooo cute!Striking a pose
My Gracie is 3 months old and it's hard to believe. Here are somethings about her at 3 months:
She's got long arms. Her sleeves are all too short for her arms. Future swim team member? I can just see her now.
She's still got dark brown hair.
She loves to smile when people talk to her.
She got her first Christmas presents from her Grandma and Pop-Pop. She got a toy for her carseat, Snow White movie, and a Peter Rabbit tea set. We've never had a tea set before.
She's on a good schedule. She eats 6 times a day, all breastfeedings except for one formula bottle usually around lunch.
She can hold her head up really well, and loves to take everything in. She looks around with big wide open eyes.
She's starting to drool a lot!
Her temperament is still calm unless she's hungry or tired.
She's starting to outgrow a lot of her 0-3 month clothing. But most of her 3-6 is still way too big.
Her mommy and her daddy are so in love with her :-)
I snapped a few pics of Gracie in her Christmas outfit that Bonnie bought for her. She looks so cute in my humble opinion!
She rolled over yesterday for the first time! Big news! She is also cooing now, and much more than the boys ever did. I took a video of it tonight and will post it as soon as I get it uploaded.
Her 2 month is a little late since she's now 2 1/2 months old (10 weeks)! Here's some tidbits about her:
At her check-up she was up to 10 lbs 2 oz (50th) and 23 inches (75th)! The nurses and doctors always ask how her bros like her and I always tell them how crazy Isaac is about her!
She's eats every three hours during the day and sleeps all night. If I don't feed her one last time before bed (10:30-11:00) she will wake at 2:30. It's very hard to hold my eyes open at 10:30-11:00, but it's better to feed her then than at 2!! She has been taking a bottle everyday to supplement.
She is very alert now and can stay awake for longer periods of time. Isaac loves talking to her and being with her: cuddling, squeezing her cheeks, etc. The older boys like to hold her as well.
We've already traveled two times, once to Gulfport and once to Knoxville. Mom and Bonnie had a shower luncheon for us. We went to the Smokies and she pretty much slept through it all. She got a lot of lovin from her aunties! Bonnie had fun dressing her up in the Christmas outfit that she got her.
We need to do better about making tummy time!
Her Daddy is head over heels for her!
For her Christmas present I bought a complete Gymboree outfit, onesie, sweater dress, tights, shoes, and hat. It is the cutest line I've ever seen!
Oh, she did NOT like getting her shots! She got 3 in her legs and one oral vaccine. She was in more pain afterward than the boys EVER were, which proves girls are more sensitive. I'm not looking forward to her teething. Also she had her first infant Tylenol after her shots because her legs seemed to hurt so bad! It made her really sleepy.
She still wears 0-3 mo clothing, which is funny b/c the boys were in 3-6 mo by 2 mos old! Little girl!
She looks so much like Jason. She's got the same big, blue eyes.
Her hair is slowly falling out. It is still brown, but in the light I see auburn.
Her temperament is pretty calm unless she's tired or hungry. Then she tells me "Hey Mom I need you!"
She loves to be held. I still use the baby carrier around the house to get her to sleep. She sleeps in her bassinet at night. I'm holding her as I type. :)
