I am pretty head over heels for this precious girl. She is such a gift from God! She is now 6 1/2 weeks old, and she's doing really well. Here's are some facts about Gracie as of now:
- The past two nights she's slept from about 11:00-5:00ish. That's about six hours straight that I've been able to get! Once she's asleep, she's out! She can be a very sound sleeper!
- She's become much more alert and stays awake for longer periods. But she still does sleep a lot! She's smiled at her daddy two times, but not for me yet! I try and get her to smile, but she just won't do it. She must be a daddy's girl already!
- She loves being held, and falls asleep with me carrying her around while I cook, clean, and take care of the boys.
- She's got big blue eyes, and it's the first thing you notice when you look at her.
- She's also got a fat and round little tummy!
- So far Isaac seems to be the most interested in her. He loves hugging her and rubbing her head (not always gently though). He always wants to make sure that she's okay when she cries.
- We've tried out the Bumbo, and she really likes it. She stays in it much longer without crying than her bouncy seat. Her pink playmat is not a favorite toy yet.
- Little girl has some noisy gas! She let it rip at church yesterday, and it was so loud that people around us were turning around! I was pretty embarrassed!
- She absolutely does not like it when we take her picture. She always gets so fussy. It seems as if she knows when we say "camera" or "picture."
